Late last year I was invited to present one of three keynotes at CIG'08, the IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence and games. The slides, with audio, are now online, and I've embedded them below.
The conference was lots of fun, and very interesting for someone who's been on both sides of the Game AI fence. The last couple of months I've been struggling to boil down the gist of my talk into a journal article, but it's been slow going. I'll hopefully have something to share soon. The two other keynotes are worth watching, and are freely available online.
